    How It Works

    Step 1: Lead Yourself

    Leaders start with self-awareness. Using behavioral assessment results, they learn their natural leadership style, communication tendencies, blind spots, and energy drains. This module builds the self-knowledge foundation that makes every other skill stick. 

    Step 2: Lead Others

    With self-awareness established, leaders learn to flex their style for different team members. This module covers assessment-informed communication strategies, managing behavioral diversity, giving feedback that lands, and building trust with direct reports who are wired differently than they are.

    Step 3: Lead the Work

    Strategy meets execution. Leaders learn how to set strategically aligned, clear expectations, delegate based on behavioral fit, manage priorities, and create accountability systems that don’t require micromanagement. This module turns managers from doers into multipliers. 

    Step 4: Lead the Team

    The final module focuses on team dynamics — how to build cohesive teams, run effective meetings, manage conflict productively, and create a team culture that drives results. Leaders leave with a team action plan they can implement immediately. 

    Each step above is about 90 minutes of content and combines facilitated instruction, behavioral data analysis, peer exercises, custom business scenarios, and real-world application planning. The entire program is typically held across 6, 2-hour virtual sessions, or in a hybrid format of 2, 4-hour in-person sessions bookending 2, 2-hour virtual sessions.

    6: Post-Program Coaching Check-In

    A 60-minute group coaching session, 30 days post-program, to review progress and troubleshoot challenges. This bridge ensures training leads to lasting behavior change.

    Lead with Leverage™ is Lever Talent’s signature leadership and management training program. It’s a 12-hour intensive built on behavioral assessment data, covering four core modules: Lead Yourself, Lead Others, Lead the Work, and Lead the Team. We tailor the content, scope, timing, and devilvery format to your needs and budget. 

    How is this different from other management training programs?

    Most leadership and management training programs teach generic frameworks that fade within a week. Lead with Leverage™ is built on each participant’s actual behavioral data and custom-tailored to your business strategy and leadership development needs. This means every lesson, exercise, and action plan is aligned with your business strategy while ensuring a level of personalization to how each manager is naturally wired to lead. 

    How many people can participate in each cohort?

    We recommend cohorts of 8-15 participants for optimal engagement and facilitation quality. Larger organizations typically run multiple cohorts over several months. We’ll recommend the right cohort size and structure based on your goals during a needs analysis held at the kickoff of your program. 



    Is the training available virtually?

    Yes. Lead with Leverage™ is available both in-person and virtually, with no reduction in quality or engagement. Many clients choose a hybrid approach with the first and last sessions in-person.

    Do participants need to complete behavioral assessments before the training?

    Yes — Behavioral assessments, like Predictive Index, are a prerequisite for the program and are included in the engagement. The assessments are completed before the first session, and results are woven into every module.
