    How It Works

    Step 1: Assess & Establish a Baseline

Every coaching engagement begins with a behavioral assessment and comprehensive needs analysis. Your leader receives a detailed profile of their natural drives, communication style, decision-making tendencies, and areas where they may be expending unnecessary energy. We also gather 360-degree input from key stakeholders.

    Step 2: Define Coaching Goals

Lever Talent works with the leader and their executive sponsor to establish clear, measurable coaching goals. Goals are anchored in behavioral data and tied to business outcomes — not abstract competencies.

Step 3:  Coach Through Structured Sessions

Leaders meet with their Lever Talent coach every two weeks for 60-minute sessions. Sessions are structured around the leader’s goals, real-time challenges, and behavioral insights. Our coaches use the behavioral assessment data to help leaders understand why certain situations are harder for them and develop strategies that work with their natural wiring.

Step 4: Measure Progress & Close

At the midpoint and conclusion of the engagement, we conduct progress reviews using stakeholder feedback, self-assessment, and behavioral benchmarks. Leaders receive a coaching summary report with key growth areas, ongoing development recommendations, and strategies for sustained progress.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    What is leadership coaching?

Leadership coaching is a structured, 1-on-1 development process where an experienced coach works with a leader to improve specific skills, behaviors, and outcomes. At Lever Talent, our coaching is grounded in Predictive Index behavioral data. The goal is measurable growth in areas that directly impact the leader’s effectiveness and their team’s results.

How is Lever Talent’s coaching different from other executive coaching?

Most leadership coaching relies on the coach’s intuition and the leader’s self-reporting. Lever Talent starts every engagement with Predictive Index behavioral and cognitive assessments, giving both coach and leader a shared, data-backed understanding of natural strengths and blind spots.

How long is a typical coaching engagement?

The standard leadership coaching engagement is 6 months, with twelve bi-weekly 60-minute sessions. Lever Talent also offers 3-month intensive engagements and 9-12 month engagements for deeper executive development.

What does a leadership coaching session look like?

Each 60-minute session is structured around the leader’s coaching goals and current challenges. Sessions typically include a review of actions from the previous session, exploration of a current leadership situation using PI behavioral insights, skill-building, and commitments for the next two weeks.

How much does leadership coaching cost?

Lever Talent’s leadership coaching engagements typically range from $8,000-$20,000 for a standard 6-month program, depending on coach seniority and engagement scope. Group coaching and multi-leader packages are also available at reduced per-person rates.

How do you measure the ROI of coaching?

We establish baseline metrics at the start — typically including stakeholder feedback scores, self-assessment ratings, and relevant business metrics. At the midpoint and conclusion, we re-measure using stakeholder input and behavioral benchmarks.

    Can coaching be done virtually?

Yes. Lever Talent offers leadership coaching both in-person and virtually, with no reduction in quality. Most coaching sessions are conducted via video call.

    Is leadership coaching confidential?

Yes. What’s discussed in coaching sessions is confidential between the leader and their coach. Progress reports cover goal progress and general themes — not session content.

What qualifications do Lever Talent’s coaches have?

Lever Talent’s coaches are experienced leadership professionals with backgrounds in organizational psychology, executive development, and Predictive Index methodology. All coaches hold relevant coaching certifications (ICF, CCE, or equivalent).
