Aaron Adams Joins Lever Talent as VP Professional Services in a Transformative Era
As companies navigate one of the most transformative eras in the history of work, Lever Talent is strengthening its talent strategy advisory and consulting capabilities by appointing Aaron Adams as the Vice President of Professional Services. Aaron, a classically trained I/O psychologist, start-up veteran, and management consultant, has joined the team to bridge the gap between scientific rigor and the rapid scaling of technology.
Aaron’s 15+ year career is defined by a fascination with how people and systems interact. He began his career primarily focused on executive assessment and development, employee engagement, and talent management practices at Right Management, the talent management wing of Manpower, Inc.

Aaron Adams, Lever Talent's New VP of Professional Services
During his time in the startup world, he developed a unique perspective on the interaction between technology and talent. As the first U.S. hire for Engagedly, an integrated Employee Engagement Platform, Aaron was part of the executive team for nearly 8 years and contributed to the company's early growth from zero to $6 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR).
"In reality, we are who we are in the moment," Aaron says of his background. "I've always had a passion for working with people - helping individuals understand themselves, helping organizations maximize leverage of their human capital investment."
The "Team First" Vision for Professional Services
While many leaders come in with a rigid roadmap, Aaron’s approach to Professional Services at Lever Talent is centered on collaboration and adaptability.
"I’m not someone who comes in and says, 'Go this way.' It’s more like, 'Where do we want to go? Okay, let’s see how we all get there," Aaron explains. "It’s about the we rather than the me. I’m here to help my Lever Talent team win a championship."
His goal for Lever Talent is clear: to become the premier service partner for HR technology companies, helping to develop and deploy tech-led talent strategies for hundreds of client companies. By working across Lever Talent to strengthen the connection between its Customer Success function which assists clients with implementation of talent assessment platforms like The Predictive Index and employee experience platforms like Engagedly, and its Professional Services function , Aaron’s charter is to ensure clients are maximizing the utility of these power platforms through Lever’s proprietary systems, training, and talent advisory programs.
“I’m thrilled Aaron has joined the team,” said Drew Fortin, Founder & CEO of Lever Talent, Inc. “AI has changed the world of work faster than we can comprehend, shifting the focus from 'doing' to 'deciding.' Aaron possesses the rare ability to help organizations optimize their talent strategies for this new reality—where workers have more control over their destiny and performance is measured by outcomes, not hours. Together, we are building the future of the full-service talent strategy agency.”
Balancing AI with Human Judgment
As the workforce moves further into an AI-driven landscape, Aaron sees a massive opportunity to rethink the world of work. He views AI not as a replacement for human talent, but as a prediction engine that frees up humans to do what they do best: exercise judgment.
"AI is a prediction engine, but judgments are human," Aaron notes. "We want to free up the things AI is really good at so human workers can focus on the strategic value and human experiences they actually enjoy. When we look through the lens of talent strategy, AI is about augmenting human intelligence and maximizing the human experience."
Beyond the Strategy: Leverage and Motion
When he isn't deconstructing organizational systems, you can find Aaron staying active. For over 15 years, he has practiced Thai boxing—a sport he loves because it favors efficiency of motion and leverage over raw brutality.
"In Thai boxing, it’s not about being the biggest or strongest. It’s about the form and the mechanics that generate force," says Aaron. "It’s about position, leverage, and timing. That same mentality applies to good business practices."
In addition to Thai boxing, Aaron is an avid skier and hiker, fueled by a love for being outside and staying in motion. Most of all, he cherishes the time he spends with his wife, Megan, and daughter, Hazel.
We couldn't be more excited to have Aaron’s leadership, systems-thinking, and "team-win" mentality at the helm of our Professional Services. Please join us in welcoming Aaron to the Lever Talent family!
